Todour - Now as a web application
For over a decade, Todour has been available as a desktop application for macOS, Windows and Linux. It has served me (and hopefully some of you) well, keeping track of tasks in the wonderfully simple todo.txt format.
But the world changes, and sometimes you just want to access your lists from a browser without installing anything. Or maybe you just want to try out the latest and greatest in task management technology (okay, maybe not the latest, but certainly a technology).
So, I built Todour.com.
It is a web-based implementation of the Todour philosophy: simple, text-based task management, but now accessible from anywhere with an internet connection.
The Tech Stack
As with my other recent projects, this is built with Rails 8, hosted on a FreeBSD server, and deployed using Piku. It’s a setup that continues to prove itself as reliable and enjoyable to work with.
Give it a try
You can sign up and start managing your tasks right away at todour.com. It’s free, it’s simple, and it might just help you get things done.
Let me know if you find it useful!
