Missouri skydiving plane crash kills 12 near Kansas City (opens in new tab)
A plane carrying 11 skydivers and a pilot crashed Sunday near Butler Memorial Airport in Butler, Missouri, killing all 12 people aboard, Skydive Kansas City and authorities said. The flight was supporting Skydive Kansas City operations and went down shortly after takeoff near the airport, about 60 miles south of Kansas City.
