Weighing in on the buy me a coffee debate between HakkerBlog and Gordon McLean, I land somewhere in the middle: they feel dated and a bit tacky to me, but I'm not bothered by them on other sites, and I skip them on mine because I'd rather use the space for something that actually matters.
