Google invests $75 million in A24 AI filmmaking partnership (opens in new tab)

Google is investing about $75 million in independent film studio A24 through a research partnership with Google DeepMind to develop AI tools for filmmaking, production and distribution. The deal gives A24 access to DeepMind research and infrastructure, while DeepMind researchers will work with the studio on new workflows.
