First I wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you who have played the game and gave it some visibility!
Below I’d like to list all of the tools and assets I’ve used to make this game, it wouldn’t exist without the people who made them. Note the game’s made in Unity 6.
The Spider
First and foremost, the 8-legged elephant in the room is this AMAZING spider asset, that has IK legs that move in a super believable way. I’ve used it almost out of the box.

Level creation & texturing
I’ve used TrenchBroom to model levels, and Tremble to integrate it with Unity:

I’m using a lot of textures from ambientcg.com that I tweak a bit so they look better when pixelated (contrast & color indexing mainly).
Props
Regarding props, I’ve modeled some of them with Blender (the worst looking ones mostly :D) but it’s mostly Creative Commons assets from itch or free/cheap assets from Unity asset store:

They mostly match the style I was after, and once renderer with my color palette they look consistent enough. BTW, in the next devlog, I’ll detail how the rendering works.

Regarding audio, It’s too hard to keep track but I use packages that I bought over the years, and a lot of SFX from Pixabay.com
