The training aimed to promote solution-oriented reporting on climate change and was facilitated by Muha Academy Master Trainer Suliman Niloy. Participants were introduced to constructive journalism and mobile journalism (MoJo), learning to use smartphones to report climate issues quickly, cost-effectively, and impactfully while highlighting local initiatives and solutions.

The workshop covered video storytelling fundamentals, including idea development, visual language, footage planning, A-roll and B-roll, interviews, sound, and story structure. Participants were also trained to apply the Solutions Journalism model to analyzes root causes, document existing initiatives, present evidence, and explore future solutions.
Niloy said: “Constructive MoJo is a core training program of Muha Academy. Applying it to climate journalism nationwide can open new pathways in our fight against climate change.”
Sheikh Abdullah Yasin, President of Ek Takay Brikkhoropon, described the training as providing a comprehensive understanding of environmental journalism from start to finish.
The session emphasized that constructive climate journalism focuses on local initiatives, adaptation strategies, and effective solutions rather than crises and negativity.
The training drew university students, young content creators, and other participants interested in climate issues. Organizers said they plan to expand similar training programs across educational institutions and regions nationwide.
