  • Either A First Course in Philosophy (PHIL 100) or History of Ideas (PHIL 101) or equivalent course with a Philosophy instructor
  • Either Logic (PHIL 200) or Philosophy of Science (PHIL 310) or equivalent course with a Philosophy instructor
  • History of Philosophy I: Ancient and Medieval (PHIL 240)
  • History of Philosophy II: Renaissance to the Present (PHIL 242)
  • Ethics (PHIL 320) or Contemporary Moral Issues (PHIL 350)
  • Five Philosophy electives above the 100 level, planned with the departmental advisor
