America Moves to Cut China Off Its Networks, and Its Own Carriers Push Back (opens in new tab)

The FCC is weighing a plan to bar US operators from connecting with China Unicom, China Mobile and China Telecom, and to wall off Chinese-run data centers on American soil. China Unicom says it would fracture the global internet, and AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile agree.
