Ivory Coast reached the World Cup knockout rounds for the first time after beating Curaçao 2-0 in Philadelphia, as Nicolas Pépé scored twice to send the West African side through from Group E in second place. The result ended Curaçao’s debut campaign after the Caribbean side, which needed a win to advance, finished bottom of the group.
