So I use Freetube on my linux desktop, Newpipe on my android, and GrayJay on my MacOS. Freetube works perfectly fine on linux but hasn’t worked for MONTHS on mac, I prefer GrayJay even though the desktop version, on MacOS is so janky, I have this issue where the subscription feed says the video came out 10-20 hours ago, my most recent subscriptions no matter how early, and also it doesn’t show all my subscription like freetube. Newpipe takes like 5 full minutes to load my 1000+ subscribed accounts.
FUTO recently came out with GrayJay desktop, and subscription sync and considering how well GrayJay worked on android, and how it passably worked on mac, I could subscribe to accounts and find them later on both devices.

But for reasons like FUTO’s apparent dodginess, and componyness, I would love to full commit to imo better software, at least on linux, but I just need some way to sync files. I know Freetube has an exporting method, and can import subscriptions on that same export file, so If this was automatically setup, connected to say Proton Drive, and automatically when I pressed subscribe edited the file, and if I could then import that file on android, grayjay, newpipe or otherwise that would also be amazing. I don’t think this feature exists though, but if anyone has any way they’ve figure out syncing subscriptions over devices please tell me your solution.
I could also just limit my youtube watching to only on my linux desktop, that might be healthier, but a small part of me wants to figure out this technology thing.
Thanks for any help
