SpaceX agreed to acquire Anysphere, the San Francisco company behind the AI coding tool Cursor, in a $60 billion all-stock deal disclosed in a securities filing Tuesday. The companies expect the deal to close in the third quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. Cursor will become a wholly owned SpaceX subsidiary after the transaction closes.
