Daniel Henefalk, Senior Environment Artist at Embark Studios, the studio behind the recently released extraction shooter ARC Raiders, showcased his work on creating vegetation for the game’s world. The plant assets were brought to life using Blender, RealityScan, Photoshop, and Unreal Engine.
Some of the assets, as the several ones that you can see below, are the first sets crafted years ago. As explained by Daniel Henefalk, the scan data was captured by the original crew of Andrew Svanberg Hamilton, Pontus Ryman, and Robert Berg. The following group of assets was crafted during the production of The Blue Gate. As explained by the artist, some of them were later shared through other maps.
