I’ve tried a lot of things over the last few years in Dubai. Some habits have stuck, some are best left behind.

Here are habits I’ll be keeping and some I’m working on in 2026:

  • Delete Social Media Apps was a great Digital Minimalism suggestion. This habit simply removed noise from my life. I see no reason to have the apps anyway, everything is on my desktop if I need it for work, and my friends are on WhatsApp. (Maybe I’ll get a dumb phone one day)
  • No phone after 8PM or two hours before sleep is a nice rule, I generally forget about my phone once I get home, rathe…
