There are tons of other people in the world to work with, who do similar to what I do, why should you work with me?

Collaboration: Say goodbye to pointless meetings! I believe in streamlined communication (this includes not needing to say hello in every email). Sometimes, no meetings at all.

Say goodbye to those “10 minute check-in” meetings that turn into 40 minutes or an hour. Let’s face it, we all hate those. Let’s focus on result’s, not a meeting every day to check in on progress (unless that’s what you want). Prefer to respond when you’re able to? No problem, I’m all setup to do async work.

Want someone either part of your existing team, or to talk with different departments? I can do that, I promise I won’t talk to them like they are a pirate (unless, that is, they are one, in which case, arrrr).

Communication, the way you want it: Want to just communicate about the project through email? Prefer a project management system (either your choice, or we’ll use mine)? Prefer something else, I’ll do my best to learn how to use it quickly and efficiently.

Accessible Solutions: Accessible shouldn’t come with a monthly price tag, nor should it come with something that doesn’t actually make the website accessible. I work to make my projects accessible by following the official AODA & W3C Recommendations. Everyone deserves equal access.

Flexible work arrangements: Think of something related to the project in the shower or as you are trying to fall asleep? It happens to me all the time. Write it down and send it to me.

Need someone on a full-time, part-time, contract, or even freelance basis? I’m available, and have the experience doing so. Whether the work is required to be in an office or from the comfort of my home, I’ll be happy to take it on.

Environmentally conscious: Everything we do affects the environment. Don’t you want this place we called home to be around for generations? Forget working with someone who drives a truck just to go two blocks, or has an energy guzzling server just sitting idle. I try to incorporate being environmentally conscious into my work. Can I go somewhere by taking public transit? What about using a website hosting company that actually cares about the environment? I try to do my part.

Honest & Up-front: Instead of playing tricks with pricing or lying. I’ll be honest with you, and that even includes giving you an estimate before the project begins. If you have a budget in mind, even better, that allows both of us to start working sooner.

Privacy Matters: Tired of having to fill in an entire multipage form with all your project details, with the questions getting more invasive? I’ll only ask for the essential details needed to complete the project (yes, that includes payment). Plus, my website doesn’t track anything, to show you one way I care about your privacy.

Project size doesn’t matter: Some people or companies only take on big projects, not me. I can take on an entire web overhaul, or something as small as ensuring your site is accessible by having underlines to every link.
