Our first Lost and Found shelf features the following:
- Tiger on the Beat: A digital exclusive, this Hong Kong action extravaganza starring Chow Yun-Fat is premiering its brand new 4K restoration on Video Store from the Golden Princess library.
- Kisapmata: One of the top ten highest-rated Filipino films of all time by the Letterboxd community, and recently selected by Letterboxd’s Head of Editorial Mitchell Beaupre as the greatest underseen horror film ever made, this brand new 4K restoration of the late Mike De Leon’s claustrophobic thriller premieres digitally for the first time on Video Store exclusively.
- It Must Be Heaven: A digital exclusive, this comedy from director Elia Suleiman was the Palestinian selection for the 92nd Academy Awards, and won the FIPRESCI Prize at Cannes.
- Poison: A landmark of queer cinema, this 1991 release was the feature debut of now-legendary director Todd Haynes. It won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, the festival’s highest honor.
- Before We Vanish: Described by its director Kiyoshi Kurosawa as “A love story disguised as an alien-invasion movie,” this Cannes premiere was an early acquisition by NEON, released in 2017.
