I was listening to the Solved podcast, and I had a rare moment of epiphany.
A moment where you hear something so simple, seemingly obvious, yet profound, that it feels like you’ve just woken up from a weird dream. One that you still faintly remember, but now start to realize how things that felt normal just a moment ago don’t make any sense anymore.
We want reassurance that a thing (or a person) is truly meaningful to us before we feel like we are ready to commit. But meaning is the thing that follows commitment, not the other way around. Actually, commitment might be the very thing that creates meaning.
