You might be moving towards the direction you want at a good, steady pace. You might’ve done it for a while already. But if you have, you’ve already adapted. So you might feel like you’re just standing still, stuck.
But you’re probably not.
We only notice the takeoffs, the sudden stops, and the bits of turbulence on the way. That’s all.
So next time you feel like you’re not moving forward, try to shift your focus outside yourself. Often the best way to notice your movement is by looking at the changing scenery. Or by checking where you once were — and seeing how far you’ve come.
Sometimes feeling stuck is just steady progress in disguise.
