Russian security services want to organize "anti-war protests" in major Ukrainian cities. Their goal is to destabilize the situation within the country, according to Dmytro Lubinets, the Commissioner of the Ukrainian Parliament for Human Rights, on Telegram.

According to him, Russia wants to organize protest actions under the tentative name Against the War in Odesa, Dnipro, Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Mykolaiv. They plan to involve mostly women on a "material basis," including mothers of fallen servicemen, mothers of prisoners of war, or of defenders who went missing.

According to the Russian plan, this is meant to create the necessary emotional backdrop, attract media attention, and provoke public resonance.

"According to Russia’s design, these actions are intended to become a tool for destabilizing the domestic political situation and exerting pressure on the Ukrainian military-political leadership — especially amid active consultations between Ukraine and the United States on the conditions for ending the war," emphasized Lubinets.

He called on Ukrainians to remain vigilant and not allow the enemy to use human tragedy as a tool in the information war against Ukraine.

Attacks on the energy sector

Russia is also trying to destabilize the situation within Ukraine through strikes on energy infrastructure.

According to Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, the enemy primarily aims to target socially vulnerable segments of the Ukrainian population.

This refers to Ukrainians with low incomes who cannot afford devices to stay connected to electricity amid constant power outages.
