Today while going through the Most Recent posts in the Discovery feed, I came across this post at Loreleice’s Virtual Writing Pad (LVWP).
I enjoyed reading through the answers and decided to make my own post to answer the same.

Bear Blog Questionnaire
This questionnaire was originally made by Ava.
1. Why did you make the blog in the first place?
Because I wanted to. =)
I enjoy writing. I used to always write in paper notebooks. General thoughts, goals, plans, game ideas, designs, problem solving, and ... well really it was kind of just "thinking out loud".
Over time I moved that to the computer in a mixture of offline local apps (Notepad, Notepad++, Writer, etc) and forums and Facebook.
I no longer wanted that - especially Facebook, I wanted to greatly minimize the "deep" writings I was posting on my profile page.
2. Why did you choose Bearblog?
I am a minimalist at heart and even more so digitally.
I spent a good amount of time researching options and narrowed it down to only 2 choices: Bearblog and Neocities.
I chose Bearblog because it was writing / blogging specific.
Bearblog appeals to me because I strongly value privacy & simplicity.
The community seemed good, having taken the time to read many blogs before signing up.
3. Have you blogged on other platforms before?
Yes.
4. Do you write your posts directly in the editor or in another software?
Direct in the Bearblog editor - writing in it right now. I copy and paste the writing into xed and save it to a text file as a backup.
5. When do you feel most inspired to write?
Whenever. Mostly nights I guess but right now is 11 AM.
6. Do you publish immediately after writing or do you let it simmer a bit as a draft?
Immediately. No matter how long I "let it simmer" I could never accurately fully capture all of my thoughts on any topic within a single blog post. Even if possible, those would certainly change by the next day.
Instead I "just write" because I can always "write again & again" and clarify, share additional thoughts, a different angle or my "adjusted thinking".
7. Your favorite post on your blog?
Not sure. Perhaps this one for now. :)
8. Any future plans for your blog? Maybe a redesign, changing the tag system, etc.?
Everything about me & my life is in a slow steady change over time so I am sure that will be reflected in this blog.
