Shuttle is a Rust-first, open source Infrastructure as Code (IaC) cloud platform for deploying apps. This week, the company launched Neptune, a new offering to speed up application deployments.

While developers can generate entire backends in minutes, it still can take days of setup and configuration to deploy the app. This is where Neptune, now in beta, comes into play. Neptune is an “AI platform engineer” that’s fully language-agnostic and connects to any repo or AI coding tool. The blog post compares it to Docker for backend infrastructure.
