I deployed my first Django REST Framework app to production last month. Took me way longer than it should have.

The problem? Every tutorial I found was either "here’s how to run Django locally" or "just use Heroku." Nothing in between. Nothing that actually explained how to get your API running on a real VPS with Docker, Nginx, SSL, and all the stuff production apps actually need.
