The thin metal "L" shaped piece in your Quamar M-80E grinder is a static control flap or an anti-clumping baffle designed to help the ground coffee exit the chute smoothly and consistently. Its falling out is a known issue for some users, and it was likely attached with double-sided tape or a similar adhesive.

Carefully take the top of the "cone" that has the electronic controls off to access the inside. Tap around the sides lightly to loosen the compression fit. The wiring will be attached to the top. Remove the two screws that connect the inside baffle plate. Clean the underside surface and reinstall the "L" shaped piece that fell out. Use a quality double-sided tape.
