In the operating room, precision is everything. Every movement matters. Every decision counts. As a Professor of Spine Surgery, I’ve spent decades perfecting the delicate dance between mind and hand.

My journey began in the 1980s, with a joystick in hand and pixels on screen. Those early games didn’t just entertain — they trained. The hours spent mastering timing, developing spatial awareness, and refining motor control became the foundation for a surgical career and multiple medical technology patents. And yes, in hindsight, they also gave my parents something precious: a moment to breathe after their own long days.

When I became a parent, I searched for games that could offer my children what those classics gave me. Instead, I found a landscape dominated by dopamine triggers, endless monetization, and experiences designed to exploit rather than elevate.

Gaming67 was born from a simple belief: Games should respect both the developing mind and the family dynamic. Each title is crafted with surgical precision, designed not just for entertainment, but for that delicate balance between challenge and joy, effort and reward. For kids, it’s an hour of magic. For parents, it’s an hour of peace — earned and deserved.

Two Expressions, One Heritage

Inspired by Pong and its successor Breakout — designed by Nolan Bushnell and Steve Bristow, prototyped in discrete logic by Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs — our games honor gaming’s foundational moment while reimagining it for a new generation.

The Holstian Journey

A space odyssey where failure becomes opportunity. Drawing from Gustav Holst’s orchestral principles, Squadron 121 builds atmosphere through timbre and rhythm rather than melody. The music employs fanfare structures with declaratory parallel harmonies, creating an atmosphere of cosmic adventure where you don’t perish — you return to your ship, ready to try again.

The procedurally generated soundtrack follows Holstian programmatic principles: orchestration as storytelling, rhythm as propulsion, harmonic color as emotional landscape. Each level introduces new instrumental timbres and rhythmic patterns, building a sonic journey that mirrors your progression through space.

Kiki67

The Tchaikovskian Dance

A whimsical collaboration inspired by Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite. Kiki67 transforms the same precise mechanics into a graceful dance of cooperation, where lyrical melodies and emotional expression guide players through increasingly sophisticated musical landscapes.

The procedurally generated score follows Tchaikovsky’s principles: emotional storytelling through melody, characteristic dances, and orchestral color. Where Holst builds with rhythm and timbre, Tchaikovsky weaves with lyrical themes and harmonic warmth. The result is a complementary musical experience that transforms the same gameplay into a different emotional journey.

Radiance

A Raymarching Benchmark

The same Breakout geometry — bricks, paddle, ball — rendered through pure mathematics. Raymarching calculates the path of every photon, simulating light as it truly behaves. Signed distance functions define surfaces. Global illumination fills the space. Shadows fall where physics dictates they must.

This is our creative vision for what these games could become: the timeless mechanics we’ve refined, expressed through computational light. The same heritage, the same precision, but rendered with techniques that push current hardware to its absolute limits.

The vision currently exceeds the technology. Radiance requires an RTX 5090 to achieve playable framerates with advanced lighting — and that’s with the debris system disabled. Full visual fidelity awaits hardware perhaps a generation away. We release it now as a benchmark: a way to stress-test today’s GPUs, and a glimpse of where we’re headed.
