After last week’s World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, it was clear that the gloves were off and some countries were not in the mood to play nice.

A number of world leaders were blunt in their assessment about the state of global geopolitics.

Without mentioning US President Donald Trump, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said

there was a “rupture” in the world order

. In his speech, he spoke about why the geopolitical situation has changed and why countries need to accept reality, instead of hankering for nostalgia.
