i tested this and after restarting run SFC unrepairable errors were found.
after another restart i then run DISM /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
SFC /ScanNow
restarted again
then run SFC again no errors found and no copilot/recall/AI

most likely but it also removed copilot from notepad and paint and even after SFC and DISM they haven’t returned. best of luck Steve ..

I find AI quite constructive and that said, I strongly feel people should have a choice.
If they want to remove it from Windows, that’s their prerogative. Its not for everyone.

I don’t want to remove CoPilot. But, but, but I don’t want every darn Word or Excel doc to ask me if I want to use Copilot. All that does is add extra mouseclicks and waste time.

Yeh, I’ve seen these sort of claims before. Just make sure you make a coupla images (different programs) before trying it
In any case, I’d be looking for a more reliable solution - like uninstall - rather than just disabling it. Microsoft just loves "disabled" apps. Next update, voila, back again!!
