You take a moment to run your hand down your face, wiping away some sweat from your nightmare/vision thing, and then you take another moment to inspect your room. It doesn’t seem too fancy, you don’t think. A single double bed with white sheets. A checkboard pattern you notice, the pillows matching that same aesthetic with one being white and the other black. There’s a small, fluff…

You should probably get up and look yourself over… It’s probably weird that you don’t even know what you look like.

Magically induced amnesia probably does weird things to you.
You take a moment to run your hand down your face, wiping away some sweat from your nightmare/vision thing, and then you take another moment to inspect your room. It doesn’t seem too fancy, you don’t think. A single double bed with white sheets. A checkboard pattern you notice, the pillows matching that same aesthetic with one being white and the other black. There’s a small, fluffy, white mat on the floor that you imagine is a pain to clean with all of its soft looking puffs. Though it’s probably really comfy now that you look at it.
It definitely feels comfy to your toes~.
The floor seems to be wood, not too dark, and covered in a shiny looking finish. White walls, no wait, ever so slightly cream actually. To your left, you notice that there’s a large dresser flush with the wall, a pair of handles being the only way to tell it’s there oddly. The door out of your room is next to it.
In front of the bed, you notice what looks like a dressing table. Its relatively intricate and white surface covered in a splash of colour with some jewellery boxes sitting on it, one of them open but empty. There’s a large mirror on the floor next to it, but you avoid looking at it right now, continuing your inspection of the room. Though you don’t find much else to look at other then another desk with a computer and such, your password’s stuck on a sticky note to the desk… you guess you were forgetful before? Or maybe you didn’t care to remember it?... huh.
A large window sits between the mirror and desk, a curtain drawn across it to block out the sun. You notice a switch next to it, and with an idle flick, the curtain moves on its own as it lets you see the outside… cool.
There’s a large cityscape outside. Or maybe its more of a township? The tallest houses you see are maybe two stories taller than yours, and there’s lots greenery. A lot of greenery, every house seems to have at least one tree on the strip in front of it, with warm green grass and flowers of various colours… it’s a surprisingly calming view you feel.
You spend a few moments just admiring the view and the warm sun as it streams in from the window with your eyes closed.
The peace is nice…
You shake your head and focus again, tempted to look in your dresser, though you’d have to walk past the mirror to do so… there’s a slight spike of fear when you think that, you notice… you wonder why… but you decide to power through that.
As you get closer to the mirror, that odd fear ramps up. It’s not… overpowering…. But you feel it there, in the back of your head like a small chill of ice.
A deep breath and a moment with your eyes closed fixes the fear mostly. Still there, but more controlled.
And you open your eyes as you see yourself in the mirror.
You probably should have checked if you were naked getting out of bed you realise… but eh, your room, your rules… probably? Unless your mother, mum, unless Mum’s set a rule about it or something… hm, something to consider.
Shaking the idle thought from your head, you look yourself over.
You’re in relatively simple pyjamas. A shade of pink, kind of like marshmallows… you think? You’ve never had a marshmallow, or maybe you have and don’t remember.
You should probably stop getting so lost in your head… that can’t be a good thing…
Right, pyjamas, simple pink, pretty warm, though oddly you’re wearing a pair with long sleeves on your top while you’re in a pair of shorts? You notice that your skins a little lighter then what you think would be normal. Not deathly or sickly pale or anything, but it does seem a little paler then what would be normal… maybe you need more sun? Hm.
You idly roll up one of your sleeves. Your left, and notice that your arm is the same slightly pale. Nothing wrong there… So you roll up your right. And all of sudden, that spike of fear wedges itself into your brain.
A shudder ripples slowly up your back as your breathing hitches for a moment.
But the fear gets locked back into whatever box you pushed it into before.
You’re calm.
You’re calm.
Your arm is… well there’s definitely a scar on it. That’s probably what set you off you think.
Tracing from the back of your wrist all the way up your upper arm, it continues under the ruffle of your pyjama top. It’s not too grizzly. Doesn’t seem like a clean cut though, you think it might have hurt a bit… and now that you notice, there’s a slight phantom burn from it…. Not really painful or noticeable, but there at the edge of your mind…
You ignore that for now, you think you’re very good at ignoring things… is that a good thing?
Actually now that you look at it, you’re kind of pretty? Cute? Pretty, pretty is better...
Not overly tall, maybe on the shorter side actually. You’re a bit flatter then you’d like too… But you have pretty good hips. You pose a little in the mirror, and feel reasonably satisfied with how you look.
There’s a plain white ribbon tied around your neck that you barely noticed… and you feel your breath hitch again when you do.
Another scar maybe?
Eh, you’ll look at it later.
Your eyes are a pretty purple hue, with what looks almost like a slight glow to them.
Past/Future you was right… you can kind of see how your glare would make you look like a bitch… or maybe like… an irritated noble lady?... that could be a fun magical girl angle actually… hmm, something to file away for later.
And last of all your hair. It’s not tied up or anything at the moment. But it’s a smooth brown curtain down your back, sitting at around your mid back you say. Nothing much to say about that.
Overall, you’d say you’re pretty. Makes you wonder what made past/future you turn out to be a, in her words, "bitch"… though… did you have black hair in that dream thing? Maybe it’s a magical girl thing…
A thought distracts you once more after a moment… how old are you? A glance at the mirror makes you think you’re definitely older than 13… maybe your 15 or 16? You’ll have to find something with your birthday on it?
A quick moment with your computer tells you that the technology is advanced but modern. Not, cybernetic implants or thought based computers… but you think it’s all rather fast, and there are definitely some fancy holographic screens at play with the realisation that you don’t have a screen, and instead have a small bar on your desk that becomes said screen with what it projects.
Ah, your 16, thank you past self for putting your birthday into your calendar.
Uh right. So… you know how you look, pretty 16 year old with slightly paler then normal skin, brown hair and super pretty purple eyes! And you know your room, still haven’t checked your dresser, but that’ll be part of getting dressed for the day you imagine. It’s a Saturday too. And your calendar tells you that you have school on Monday… and there’s four reminders that you have homework to finish on it… and you need to go out with someone called Alice today. A friend probably?
It’s good to know you have friends. Though… they might notice the amnesia… that could be a problem…
…eh, future you can deal with that.
You glance at the time, something in the back of your head telling you that it’s a little early for breakfast. So you might as well explore discreetly or meet your family... again... hopefully this isn’t as awkward as you think it’ll be,
You don’t get more than a few steps to your door before someone knocks quietly on it.
Whoever it is doesn’t open it immediately you notice, though after a moment or two they slowly push it open.
Your greeted by another lady. Honestly, she looks almost exactly like what a grown up version of you should, minus the purple eyes. Her’s are a vibrant blue. A smile on her face as she looks at you… and oddly… you think there’s some worry on her face?... huh.
*‘Mum most likely. Right, just act normal... Wait... how do I normally act?’ *
"Filia dear, you’re up already? It’s a bit early on a Saturday for you don’t you think?"
The clock only says 7:30… maybe you got up earlier than usual? So much for acting normal...
You open your mouth to reply, and then you feel FEAR.
There’s no other way to put it. A raw surge of cold rippling through your body as your neck burns. Your vision blackens ever so slightly and you hear a quiet scre-
You blink a bit, noticing that you’re crying a little, as your mouth closes. But before you can react anymore, your mother has you in a hug.
You think there was a flash of hope when you opened your mouth on her face?...
"It’s okay dear. It’s okay. You’re safe. You’re okay."
You’re a little… no very confused at this…. Why that happened… you have no idea?... you shake it away. Though you think your mother took that as you shaking a little with how her hug tightens.
Its… nice you decide. The warmth of a hug is nice.
You can think about the weirdness later.
You close your eyes and enjoy the hug for a bit as your mother gives you a kiss on the cheek, looking back into your eyes.
"No need to rush okay?"
You kind of want to question more about this, though that might come off as odd, so you just nod instead. Giving her a smile of your own. You don’t think it’s a good idea to talk just yet. Maybe.
Mum smiles at you again, patting you on the head in a way that makes your eyes slightly close in contentment before she stands up.
"Well, I was here to see if you were asleep, but if you’re up, want to help me prepare breakfast? We’re making your favourite~" She says with a wink and genuinely happy looking smile. "Your dad’s taking a nap on the couch, so you can snuggle up to him and Lillia if you want too, turns out you both woke up early today." Her smile widens just a little at that.
She doesn’t move more then half a step from you, hovering almost protectively near you… you don’t know why you notice that, but you do. You also notice that she uses her hands as she gives you your options, A one and a two, as she presents them each.
A quick glance at your room also lets you find a notepad and pen next to your bed, so you can probably write something down if you have another idea to tell her...
