This is a decision I’ve been contemplating for a while now. I wanted to travel the world, but my earthly possessions, my hundreds of pages of ramblings from the past, is holding me back. I didn’t want people to rid them, but it hurst me to burn them when I spent countless hours writing them. This left me paralysed, unable to make a decision, and unable to journal last year. I had a hiatus while I still figure out what to do with my life.

Last, with the year changing and me needing a new planner, I’ve decided to go all digital. It’s more cost efficient, less bulky item on my desk, and I can take it wherever on a cloud.
I do have to admit that it takes time to get used to, but I know it would be beneficial, not just for my mobility, but for earth in the long run.
What do I do now?
I started setting up my plans in my personal Google calendar. While we use Microsoft at work, I like G-cal’s functionality more.
I use it to plan my daily tasks, and plot activities in the future as well. I don’t send an invite to that email address, I make sure to add the items manually, individually, and intently.
As for my diary, I’ve started using Obsidian. I recently purchased the Obsidian sync for a year to see how well it works. I do find it pricey, so I’m also thinking to switching to Upnote once my year is up. It does look promising and is more cost efficient for me.
For creativity, I now pour my heart out on this blog, crocheting, and I’m recently learning how to create content for my crochet account on Instagram. I never really exerted much effort in things I publish online, so this territory is new to me, but the longer I practise it, the more interesting they get, and I am excited.
