As Pattaya prepares to welcome thousands of athletes, officials and tourists for the 33rd SEA Games, the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) is launching a major five-day food and shopping festival to boost border trade and support local entrepreneurs.
The “Taste, Shop, Cheer by MOC” event will run from 10–14 December 2025, daily from 10:00 to 20:00 hrs, along Pattaya Beach Road, stretching from Soi 9 to the front of Central Pattaya shopping mall.
Organised under the government’s “Quick Big Win” economic stimulus policy, the fair aims to generate immediate income for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) affected by past border disruptions, particularly those from provinces along the Thai–Cambodian border.

More than 40 selected vendors from eight eastern provinces – Chonburi, Chanthaburi, Rayong, Trat, Sa Kaeo, Prachinburi, Nakhon Nayok and Chachoengsao – will showcase a wide variety of products, including fresh seafood, tropical fruits and processed fruit products, herbal drinks, hand-dyed clothing, organic massage oils, agricultural goods and other signature local items.
The timing of the event coincides with both the SEA Games (9–20 December) and the annual Pattaya International Jazz Festival, ensuring heavy foot traffic from athletes, supporters and music fans.
All vendors have been instructed to use only environmentally friendly packaging and to strictly maintain hygiene and food-safety standards.
Ms. Nattacha Traipipattanapong, Director of the Tourism and Sports Promotion Division, Chonburi Provincial Office, stated: “This is a perfect opportunity for everyone to taste delicious local food, shop for quality products, and cheer on our SEA Games athletes while directly supporting entrepreneurs who have faced challenges along the border areas.”

Visitors are invited to join the “Taste delicious food – Shop great products – Cheer for the SEA Games” experience and help revitalise the economy of Thailand’s eastern region.
The event is a collaboration between the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, and provincial commerce offices across the eastern seaboard.
