Hey, big update about life, I’ve been employed so work + University + other life things is going to make things really hard for me to keep updating this, so I want to make this post as a little TODO list and to show my hopeful plans for the future.
The biggest one is a update notifier, so whenever I update this you can get notified without being inside of my discord server or following me since itches way of notifying people of updates sucks. So with some GitHub work, I will have a way for the app to check my GitHub if it’s the latest version.
I also want to make this open source for anyone to make changes to, as there is a way to just get the software’s source code since it was created inside godot.

Something I will most likely be working on very soon, is slimeVR integration. What I mean is that it will be 1 of 2 different ideas that i’ve had.
-
Slime Software integration)
-
This idea is for slime VR trackers to connect directly to the headset without the need for The Slime VR software. This can give me the ability to make the required Slime Trackers go all the way down to 1 Slime Tracker so you only need to use your phone for your waist.
-
The biggest road block for this, is that I don’t own any Slime Trackers, I only have stuff that emulate Slime Trackers, like joycons and a phone, so I don’t think I’ll be going this route, but I’ll defently consider it an option if the majority of people who use it don’t have a pc. (FYI: you don’t need a pc for slime trackers, it’s possible to do it all within the headset. I know because I’ve done it!)

My app Emulating the slime trackers)
-
This is the most likely outcome for this, because I want to have this application to support SteamVR, dispite it a mojority of game not using fbt, but it would still add the ability to obtain a waist tracker, since you can only connect 2 controller to a quest at a time (Meta, please change that).
-
This way, could also appeal to slimeVR Users as it has the potential to be a faster method of calibation, so you don’t have to do all that sitting and standing stuff, but I don’t entirly know how to support it just yet.
-
The Slime Trackers could also be used as a way to better approximate the position of the controllers when you turn away from the headset, since I’ve noticed that the tracking does get a bit funky at times when you physiclly turn away.
Over all, I think option 2 is best, but I still want to add waist approximation...
