Two horses were killed and three more injured after being hit by a car on an interprovincial road in Ratchaburi province on Saturday.
Facebook user Job Yayeh posted video of the equestrian accident on Highway 4, the Ratchaburi-Nakhon Pathom roadway. It shows several horses suddenly running onto the road near the Bang Phae intersection.
Apparently escaping from a nearby location, the confused animals were quickly struck by a silver Honda sedan with Bangkok licence plates travelling at high speed.

The incident resulted in considerable damage to the automobile and led to the death of two horses and injuries to three others.
The scene was witnessed by multiple people around the junction.
Police identified the driver as 66-year-old Tharat Chairath from Bangkok. The horses belonged to 40-year-old Suvichaya Noikamsin, the owner of a nearby stable in Bang Phae.
Both the driver and the stable owner were under police interrogation.
