I’m usually in front of my computer each day for many hours, trying to keep tabs on everything that’s going on. I’m usually in front of my computer each day for many hours, trying to keep tabs on everything that’s going on. It doesn’t help that I have a toddler at home who is constantly running around or trying to press buttons on my laptop or printer while I’m working. Organization helps keep me sane, and that’s what Rambox does best. Rambox is a platform that lets you connect tons of apps to keep them all in one place. It eliminates your need to open multiple apps on your computer each day (for the most part), and it integrates well into your work or home life.
Rambox saves me time each day
It’s been a game-changer for me
If you’re sick of trying to find the right app as you’re juggling many of them being open on your computer at once, you’re not alone. I’m constantly using the four-finger swipe down on my MacBook Pro’s touchpad to see all the apps that I have open. Rather than minimizing them all each time I’m not using them, I end up stacking them all up on top of each other and then scrambling to find the one I need at that particular moment.
Whether your team is using Google Sheets, Airtable, Asana, Basecamp, Roadmap, or any of the other 103 programs that fall into the Project Management filter, Rambox lets you integrate them into one place.
This can be everything from Spotify to Microsoft Word to Google Chrome to Notes and more. I thought my insistence on having many tabs open in a browser was bad, but it’s really all the programs that I have open that’s an issue. Once I discovered Rambox, it made the organization of my screen much more manageable.
Rambox takes all your workspace apps, and plenty that don’t have to do with work, and stores them in one platform. This means you don’t have to open multiple programs and can just open Rambox each day. It’s a quick and easy way to go from work app to work app in no time.
This boosted my work productivity
I can jump from place to place without leaving
On a typical workday, I use Asana, Slack, Gmail, and Google Chrome to do my job. Those are four programs I need to have open at all times in order to complete my work tasks. I use all of them for different reasons and try to organize them as well as possible. When writing for a website, there has to be a flow of content that lets you get from story idea to publication, with people being able to track the different steps along the way.
That’s why all of these are utilized in the process. So, there’s no getting around using them all. However, I was able to get around having all four open separately and just have Chrome and Rambox open. Rambox works with all kinds of productivity and workplace apps to integrate whatever your team uses.
Whether your team is using Google Sheets, Airtable, Asana, Basecamp, Roadmap, or any of the other 103 programs that fall into the Project Management filter, Rambox lets you integrate them into one place. Rambox offers 22 different categories of programs for you to choose from. They include:
| Accounting & Finance | |
| Advertising & Marketing | Focus & Productivity |
| Administration | IDE & Coding Resources |
| Artificial Intelligence | Messaging & Social |
| Blogging & Writing | Miscellaneous |
| Calendar & Scheduling | Music, Radio & Podcasts |
| Voice & Video Calls | Notes & Whiteboards |
| Customer Support | Project Management |
| Design Suites | Cloud Storage |
| eCommerce | Streaming Platforms |
| Educational | Task Management |
Plus, you can also just log into full suites of programs, having them all populate for you to use. It works with Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Zoho. You can also integrate your own workspace by creating your own. There is an individual subscription as well as a business subscription available at Rambox, so your company can upload what programs it uses to create a customized set that logging into Rambox will automatically give you.
I have found myself being able to switch back and forth between tasks more efficiently. You might think this is overblowing the situation because it’s just a few clicks. But when you can travel just a few centimeters to click on an icon in the same program, you’re already in rather than clicking out and into something else on the screen; the time adds up. It’s just a cleaner process and one that is better for you and your battery life.

Rambox is full of surprises
I wasn’t expecting it to make my computer run better
Arguably, the best part of Rambox is that it looks after your computer while you use it. If you haven’t used an application in a while, it will move it to hibernation mode. This makes the program inactive, saving you bandwidth. One of my biggest pet peeves with some apps is how hard it is to make them inactive when you aren’t using them, especially tabs in Google Chrome.
My computer is burning through lots of data with tons of applications open. Rambox makes it easier on my MacBook by saving battery and helping it run more efficiently.
Rambox also has an application manager feature that lets you check how much each program that it’s running is consuming. This gives you a better idea of what you might want to run when and what you may want to hibernate. It also helps me juggle what I really need open at a specific time.
I usually like to have Spotify open to play music while I’m writing. But I wasn’t expecting Rambox to also include music programs. Logging into my Spotify account and accessing my playlists in the same program that I’m doing work in is a nice feature. I also usually look at my phone to check my WhatsApp messages. I can now just hop over to them on my computer in order to not interrupt my workflow.
Rambox has proven to be more helpful than anticipated
The more that I’ve used Rambox, the more I like it. I can pretty much get rid of all the icons in my dock and just leave Rambox, because it has most of the programs that I use daily. I don’t have to hop around from place to place, trying to find minimized windows or ones that I’ve hidden to get out of the way of another window.
The platform presents a clean and usable interface, making it simple to integrate into your daily workflow. The fact that companies can customize their own workspace makes me think all businesses should invest in this. Also, I love how it saves my battery life on a daily basis. Rambox has proven to be worth the switch for me.
