Star Wars: Galactic Racer is bringing racing games back to franchise. Developed by Fuse Games, led by some of the leaders behind Burnout and Need For Speed, the game takes inspiration from across the universe to create a unique racing experience.

‘Star Wars: Galactic Racer’ release date window

Star Wars: Galactic Racer will release in 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. The game doesn’t have a confirmed release window, by Fuse Games have been working on it for a little while so we should expect it sometime in the second half of the year, if we were to guess.

‘Star Wars: Galactic Racer’ gameplay details

Gameplay details for the game are few and far between right now, but it will appear to have races across different planets in the Star Wars universe, featuring vehicles like speeders, larger land vehicles, and hopefully even pods for podracing. Although, that isn’t confirmed just yet. Each one will have their own class and playstyle, allowing you to customise them.

Alongside a solo story campaign, there will be a full suite of multiplayer modes, and it looks like there will be a ranked system too, according to a press release.
