Christmas has come and gone and if you didn’t get the gift you were hoping for, Bowen Yang has just the thing for you.
The actor and comedian, who made his last appearance on Saturday Night Live during the show’s recent Christmas episode, is offering up some self-care suggestions as part of his ongoing “It’s Giving Gifts” campaign with Marshalls.
Yang teamed up with his Las Culturistas co-host Matt Rogers earlier this month to suggest holiday gift ideas across 15 very specific categories — think: “Best gifts for the homebody who loves their sourdough starter more than you and you have accepted that;” and “best gifts for the teen who has so much drip you were left with no choice but to use the word ‘drip’ to describe them” (the gift ideas were kitchenware and viral skincare products, respectively, by the way).
Now that Christmas is over, fans can turn their attention to three other categories of gifts that you can either pick up for yourself or for your New Year’s Eve gatherings. One category is “Best gifts for me that were so thoughtful I really shouldn’t have,” with Yang and Rogers picking out fashion items, beauty products and name-brand accessories that you can easily buy online for yourself.
Gucci Supreme Canvas Card Case With Leather Trim
One of their picks is this Gucci wallet, featuring the Italian fashion house’s iconic logo print on a canvas cardholder with leather trim. Marshalls of course, offers a ton of new and authentic designer goods for a fraction of their retail price.
Tom Ford 62mm Round Sunglasses
Marshalls also has these Tom Ford tortoiseshell sunglasses available for under $200 online. The oversized sunnies come with a Tom Ford case with cleaning cloth.
Dr. Brandt Needles No More Neck Sculpting Cream
You can also treat yourself to some skincare with this Dr. Brandt set, which gets you the celeb-loved brand’s popular neck sculpting cream along with a gua sha tool to help lift, depuff and contour the face. The unisex cream is gentle enough for all skin types and daily use.
Elchim 3900 Healthy Hair Ionic Professional Dryer
Upgrade yourself to a new blow dryer like this sleek and contemporary model from Elchim. It promises a 30 percent-faster drying time, while the ionic-ceramic system is said to help create more shine, softness and volume without frying your hair.
Laura Mercier Neroli Du Sud Aromatic Bath And Body Oil
Didn’t get what you wanted for Christmas? Relax and melt your cares away with this luxe bath and body oil, which features notes of orange zest, neroli and lavender for an intoxicating and stress-reducing experience. From noted skincare brand Laura Mercier, the body oil promises to keep your skin hydrated for 24 hours.
Heading to a party for New Year’s Eve? Yang and Rogers also offer up ideas for “the gift at the holiday party that’ll make you casually brag to everyone: ‘Yeah…That was the one I brought.” Their go-to: think housewares and decor items that can also bring the party.
Brookstone 10-Piece Cocktail Shaker Set
This 10-piece cocktail set includes a cocktail shaker, jigger, tongs, measuring tool and more. Everything has its place on a handsome wooden display caddy that doubles as decor on a countertop or bar cart.
And if you maybe didn’t expect to receive something from a “special friend” and now have to quickly find something to gift them in return, well, Yang and Rogers have rounded up some picks for “your situationship who got you a gift so now you have to get them one even though you didn’t know you were doing that.” It’s not too late to give a holiday gift: just say you were waiting for the perfect moment — and perfect gift — to send.
Celine 54mm Designer Sunglasses
Nothing says “I’m sorry” like a luxury pickup, and these Celine sunglasses are easy to love. They feature a trendy oval shape with a sculptural, art-inspired silhouette. These shades come with a Celine-branded case and cleaning cloth.
Brooks Brothers Faux Fur Blanket
Not quite in the luxury stage of your situationship? Pull up to their place with this Brooks Brothers blanket and some takeout and propose a cozy night in. This one features a suede-like finish with a branded logo patch and stitched accents. Choose from two sizes: full/queen or a king blanket.
Brouk and Co. Scrabble Set
This Scrabble set says “I want to spend more time with you,” but keeps it casual rather than carnal. The faux-leather case opens up to reveal a full gameboard, tiles and storage bag.
Marshalls says its “It’s Giving Gifts!” campaign was “curated with Matt and Bowen’s signature Las Culturistas flair,” with the 15 “witty [and] entertaining categories featuring premium finds, making it easy to get great gifts without breaking the bank.”
An accompanying press release says the campaign aims to take the stress out of holiday gatherings, because gifting “should actually be fun.”

Marshalls
Marshalls also asked its followers for help in deciding the best gifts of 2025, letting shoppers vote on Instagram on top picks to buy online. Among the winning items: Veja sneakers, Stuart Weitzman heels, Betsey Johnson accessories, Burberry perfume, YSL eyeshadow and coffee table books from Rizzoli and Simon & Schuster. See all of Marshall’s best gifts of 2025 here.
As for Yang, the SNL star recently departed the show after seven seasons, telling followers in an Instagram post that he was “grateful for every minute of my time there.”
