Netflix’s newest live game show wants to be part of your daily life. Here’s how to jump in.

Netflix is getting into the business of daily live game shows with Best Guess Live. Hosted by America’s Got Talent’s Howie Mandel and Sugar Rush’s Hunter March, this is a live mobile game where a nationwide audience competes for thousands of dollars in cash prizes. It takes speed and skill to win, but knowing how and where to actually play would probably be helpful, too. Fortunately, Shacknews is here to help.

How to play Best Guess Live on Netflix

While Best Guess Live is a Netflix game, it won’t be found on the traditional Netflix app. It’s a standalone iOS/Android app, which can be downloaded on the App Store and Google Play storefronts. It’s free to download and requires a Netflix login to participate.

Once you’re logged in, the hosts will begin providing clues to a secret item. After each clue, players will have 20 seconds to guess what it is. The game will continue until five clues are given out. The answer will then be given out and the $15,000 USD prize pool will be split among all the players who were able to provide the correct answer with the earliest clue. A functioning PayPal account is required to receive payment.

Players have one chance to guess the secret item and that guess must be exactly right, so the strategy is in either answering ahead of everybody else or waiting for a clue where you feel more certain about the answer. While answers are not case sensitive, they must be fully and correctly spelled out. Typos are not allowed or forgiven, so watch where you’re typing.
