The incident was escalated to the commanders of the 98th Division and Judea and Samaria Division, who are treating it as a serious incident, the military noted.
Other soldiers involved were court-martialed, the Post confirmed.

Soldier reportedly Maglan Unit commando
Reports in Israeli media indicate that the soldier belonged to the military’s Maglan commando unit.
Maglan is a unit comprised of commandos who specialize in reconnaissance and counterterrorism operations behind enemy lines, utilizing highly advanced weapons and technology.
While the military has not confirmed these reports, the IDF’s Commando Brigade is subordinate to the 98th Division, whose commander was involved in the court-martial process.
