Last week, when I performed the Gilded Rose Refactoring code kata in ColdFusion, my text-based testing gave me a binary result. That is, the test either passed or it failed; but, it didn’t give me any obvious insight into which part of the text output was problematic. What I would have loved was something with more nuance — something akin to a GitHub code diff. As such, I wanted to explore the Myers Diff algorithm in ColdFusion.
