AI firms back $500 million worker retraining nonprofit (opens in new tab)

RAISE US, a new bipartisan nonprofit co-founded by former Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo and former Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb, launched with more than $500 million to develop education, retraining and job-transition programs for American workers affected by artificial intelligence.
