Explore Indoor Worlds in 2D and 3D: Big Open Dataset for Home and Office Scenes

Ever wondered how computers learn rooms? This new collection of indoor scans lets anyone see the same places as photos, depth maps and 3D models. It covers over 6,000 m2 and contain more than 70,000 images, including regular photos and wide 360° views. You get color, distance cues and surface direction info, plus aligned 3D meshes and point clouds that match the pictures. That means a model can learn from both pictures and shapes at the same time, or try to learn without many labels, if you like.
