United Talent Agency has signed Warner Bailey, the founder of the media company Assistants vs. Agents, for representation in all areas.
Assistants vs. Agents, a voice for Hollywood’s rising next generation, was born during Bailey’s tenure as a talent agent assistant. What began as a humorous meme page capturing the daily struggle of entertainment underlings evolved into a multi-platform media company and educational ecosystem. Now, the company organizes events and panels and puts together editorial content, a newsletter and job board to help people aspiring to work in Hollywood.
For its audience of largely Los Angeles and New York-based 20-somethings, Assistants vs. Agents covers trivial topics (such as managing a unwieldy concert guest list) and industry-shaking stories (like Netflix’s takeover of Warner Bros.).
Through Assistants vs. Agents, Bailey has forged partnerships with leading studios and tech giants like Netflix, Meta, Amazon MGM Studios, Warner Bros. Discovery, Paramount+ and Apple TV. He recently hosted a live panel at ZCON, the Gen Z-focused conference in Los Angeles.
Prior to launching Assistants vs. Agents, Bailey ran a creative agency and oversaw the M3F Fest, a nonprofit music festival in Phoenix that courted artists including Leon Bridges, Odesza, Maggie Rogers, Kaytranada, ZHU and Jamie xx. There, he also spearheaded the M3F Fund, which has donated more than $2.3 million to 35 different charities. His philanthropic efforts extend to producing Live From Los Angeles: A Fire Relief Benefit, which raised over $100,000 for MusiCares after the Los Angeles fires in early 2025. And he is a member of the Music Industry Advisory Board for Save The Music.
