The Braque system reflects the artist’s thinking through its stacked architecture of two cubes working together as a single instrument. The system combines a handmade steel cube, produced in Sweden, with a plywood speaker cube assembled in Estonia.
The steel base of the speaker is cut, welded and then brushed by hand, giving each piece a unique character and a soft matte finish. Together, the two volumes form a stable and symmetrical structure that sits at the ideal listening height, with a clear and focused stereo field.
Each pair of Nocs Braque speakers are hand numbered.

It’s All About The Space
“Braque is about space – physical and sonic. By working with a larger enclosure and a coaxial driver, we were able to shape a sound that’s natural, open, and honest. It reveals what’s in the recording without adding anything of its own, which is the core of our Studio Sound approach,” says Daniel Alm of Nocs.
MORE FOR YOU
“Braque opens up new possibilities for us. With its form and weight distribution, it can live in many different positions – on a stand, suspended, or integrated into a space. I’m curious to explore how it can work in larger installations and environments.”
Braque is powered by dual Celestion FTX0820 coaxial drivers and dual Hypex FA122 amplifier modules, one per speaker. Final tuning takes place at the Nocs Lab in Sweden. The company says it has worked closely with musicians and engineers to preserve the integrity of the original recording.
