He stressed Cambodia’s openness to diplomatic dialogue and mediation, welcoming international efforts, including those from US President Donald Trump. However, Yara pointed out that, from Cambodia’s perspective, the root cause lies in Thailand’s actions, particularly its use of a unilateral map to fuel public misperceptions. He also denied the use of landmines at the border.
