Over the last decade or so, we’ve come to accept that the best time to buy a TV is in late January, just ahead of the Super Bowl. At this point, TV makers are already talking about their next wave of upgrades so the current models start to go on sale. And it certainly doesn’t hurt that it’s just before the “big game,” which is the single most-watched TV event of the year. (And the second-biggest eating day of the year behind Thanksgiving!)
