Please forgive me lol, I’m studying for my certs so I’m very new to troubleshooting network issues. Gonna sound stupid but it’s driving me crazy.
Okay so I have this portable router that I gotta temporarily while I was waiting in my main router. It works great, fast enough for daily tasks. However recently it’s been having issues. I have it sitting between my UGREEN NAS and my switch. Yes the router is connected via switch. In that switch I have all other devices connected that’s in that room. So computer for example. However recently my router stopped giving me network, so I figured its memory is maybe full since I haven’t reset it in a while. Done a restart and it was working fine for a few hours. Okay so I have this portable router that I gotta temporarily while I was waiting in my main router. It works great, fast enough for daily tasks. However recently it’s been having issues. Then started dropping again. Now it’s unreliable. It’s weak. Occasionally the network light will change back to blue, instead of white like it’s supposed to be.
See I’m not expert in networks, but in my head. Because I can ping and get internet, it’s probably just weak due to its placement. Maybe interference? Either that or the ISP is simply not working with my router right now?
