There is a particular satisfaction in watching patterns emerge from chaos. You have a spreadsheet — hundreds of rows, dozens of columns — and somewhere in that noise is a story. A trend you haven’t noticed. A correlation you didn’t expect. An anomaly that changes everything.

Kurisu
There is a particular satisfaction in watching patterns emerge from chaos. You have a spreadsheet — hundreds of rows, dozens of columns — and somewhere in that noise is a story. A trend you haven’t noticed. A correlation you didn’t expect. An anomaly that changes everything.
Most tools make you hunt for these insights manually, clicking through dropdown menus and dragging fields into boxes, hoping you’ve chosen the right combination. Or they promise "AI" but just generate random charts and call it intelligence.
Kurisu is different.
It’s a statistical engine disguised as a dashboard. Drop in your data and watch it run real tests — Spearman Rank, Kruskal-Wallis, Mann-Kendall — to identify what actually matters. It doesn’t just draw pretty charts. It thinks, then shows you what it found.
And it does all of this locally. Your data never leaves your machine. No cloud uploads, no monthly subscriptions, no tracking. Just you, your data, and an instrument built to respect both.
What It Solves
You know this feeling: you’re staring at a CSV file that contains answers, but extracting them feels like archaeology. Excel is finicky and complex, a single misspelled formula can cause hours to be lost. Cloud tools require uploading sensitive information to someone else’s server. Tableau costs $840 a year and has a learning curve steeper than you have time for.
The tools that promise "ease" treat you like you don’t know what you’re doing. The tools that promise "power" assume you have a PhD in statistics and infinite patience.
Kurisu assumes you’re intelligent but busy. It assumes your data is sensitive and deserves to stay on your machine. It assumes that if you’re going to spend $29 on a tool, it should work immediately and last forever.
How It Works
Statistical Intelligence
When you drop a file into Kurisu, it doesn’t just count rows and draw bars. It runs actual tests.
Spearman Rank Correlation finds relationships between variables that linear tests miss. If two metrics move together in non-obvious ways, you’ll see it.
Kruskal-Wallis identifies which categories genuinely differ from each other versus which ones are just random noise. Which product lines actually outperform? Which regions legitimately lag? The test knows.
Mann-Kendall Trend Analysis detects whether your time-series data is truly trending up, down, or stable. Is your revenue growing or just fluctuating? The algorithm doesn’t guess.
Anomaly Detection uses Median Absolute Deviation to surface outliers automatically. That weird spike last Tuesday? The unexpected drop in engagement? Kurisu flags it without you having to hunt.
What this means: Instead of generating every possible chart and hoping you notice something, Kurisu scores visualizations by statistical significance and shows you what matters first.
Three Ways to Work
Automated Dashboard For when you need answers immediately. Drag in your file, Kurisu analyzes structure and runs tests, generates 8-15 charts based on what it finds, arranges them by importance. Time from upload to insight: about 10 seconds.
Blank Canvas For when you know exactly what you want to build. Start with an empty grid. Add any of 11 chart types. Drag, resize, arrange with precision. Full control over every element.
Chart Studio For when you need one perfect visualization. Isolate a single chart, refine every detail, export at high resolution. No dashboard clutter. Just the chart, exactly how you need it.
The Interface
Click to Filter This is the feature you didn’t know you needed. Click any bar in a chart and the entire dashboard instantly filters to that category. Click a pie slice, drill into that segment. Click a point on a scatter plot, isolate that data across all views. It turns exploration into conversation.
Undo Everything A 50-action history buffer means experimentation is risk-free. Try a filter you’re not sure about. Hate it? Undo. Delete a chart by accident? Undo. Rearrange your entire layout, realize it looked better before? Undo. The tool remembers.
11 Chart Types Bar, Line, Pie, Doughnut, Polar Area, Heatmap, Scatter, Bubble, Radar, KPI Cards, Stacked Bar. Not because we love making charts, but because different data speaks different languages. Use what fits.
Professional Export PNG at 1x-3x resolution for presentations. PDF for print. Pre-formatted social cards for Twitter. Or export just the layout as JSON—your dashboard configuration without the data, so you can share templates while keeping information private.
Six Visual Themes Dark Crimson, Light Corporate, Dark Blue, Starlight, Nord, Light Vibrant. Because sometimes you’re presenting to a board and need Light Corporate. Sometimes you’re working at 2am and need Dark Crimson. The tool adapts to your context.
The Privacy Architecture
Your data never leaves your computer. This isn’t marketing copy — it’s how the software works.
When you drop a file into Kurisu, it’s processed entirely in your browser using Web Workers. If you save a session, it’s stored in your browser’s local storage. No network requests. No tracking pixels. No "telemetry" being sent home.
This matters for HIPAA-regulated data. For financial statements you’re contractually forbidden from uploading. For customer information that carries legal weight. For your personal trading portfolios that represent real security risk if exposed.
Cloud analytics tools can be hacked, subpoenaed, or simply have their terms of service changed. Kurisu has no server. There’s nothing to breach and nothing to change.
Who Uses It
Freelancers who bill by the hour Client sends a messy Excel file at 4pm, wants insights by EOD. You’re not a data scientist and you don’t have time to become one. Kurisu generates the dashboard, you refine the 2-3 charts that matter, export to PDF. You bill for strategy, not chart-making. Time saved pays for the tool in one use.
Finance teams with compliance constraints Quarterly P&L data that legally cannot touch cloud services. Excel is slow and the charts look unprofessional. Tableau costs $840/year per seat. Kurisu keeps data on your machine, generates professional dashboards, exports high-res charts for board presentations. Zero compliance risk.
Crypto traders who value privacy Portfolio CSV contains wallet addresses and holdings. Uploading that anywhere is a security nightmare. Kurisu processes locally, spots anomalies in trading patterns, tracks portfolio correlation, identifies trends. Your wallet data never hits a server.
Indie developers tracking product metrics You export analytics from your database monthly—user growth, revenue, churn. You need quick insights but you’re not paying $49/month for another analytics SaaS. Kurisu generates the dashboard from your CSV export, shows what’s working. Make a social card for that growth milestone.
Researchers working with experimental data Running experiments, collecting data, need visualizations for papers. No budget for expensive software. Excel charts look amateur. Kurisu has statistical tests built in, produces publication-quality exports, works offline in the lab.
Small business owners with seasonal data You export sales from Shopify monthly. You want to see trends—what’s selling, what’s declining, seasonal patterns—but you don’t have time for a data analytics course. Drop in the export, automated dashboard shows top products, revenue trends, anomalies. Takes one minute.
The Price
$29. Once. Forever.
For context: Tableau costs $70/month. Power BI costs $10/month but uploads your data to Microsoft. Hiring a freelance analyst for a one-time report starts at $200. If you use Kurisu even once to create a client presentation, the cost is justified.
Use it monthly for a year? That’s $2.40/month amortized. Use it for five years? Less than 50 cents per month.
What you’re acquiring:
- A tool that does statistical analysis humans charge hundreds for
- Professional exports for presentations and reports
- Complete data privacy (which has no price because it’s priceless)
- Lifetime access to v1.x updates
- No monthly fees, no expired licenses, no "contact sales"
Technical Details

How it runs: Entirely in your browser. Statistical processing happens in Web Workers so the interface stays responsive. Chart rendering uses Chart.js. Startup is instant—no install, no loading screens.
What it exports: PNG (1x-3x resolution), PDF, pre-formatted social cards. Or export just the layout as JSON to share dashboard configurations without sharing data.
Browser compatibility: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Anything from 2020 onwards.
Storage: Layouts save automatically in browser localStorage, per file. No account required. No cloud storage. Export layouts as JSON to back up externally.
Questions
Is this actually just one HTML file? Yes. Open it in any browser, it works. You can rename it, put it on a USB drive, email it — it’s just a file.
Do I need to install anything? No. Download the file, open it in a browser. That’s the entire process.
What if my internet goes out? Kurisu works completely offline. Once downloaded, you never need internet again (unless you want to check for updates).
Can I use this commercially? Yes. Create dashboards for clients, use it in your business, analyze company data. One purchase covers all uses.
Will this work in five years? As long as browsers support HTML5, yes. There’s no server dependency that can disappear.
Do you collect usage data? No. Zero analytics, zero tracking. There’s no mechanism for me to know you’re using it.
Can I get a refund? Yes, within 30 days through Gumroad. No explanation needed.
What about future versions? All v1.x updates (bug fixes, minor features) are free forever. Major versions (v2.0+) might be paid upgrades at a discount for existing owners. A Final Note
Kurisu is not a service you subscribe to. It’s not a platform you access. It’s a self-contained instrument that lives on your machine.
Once you download it, it’s yours. No authentication servers checking if you’re still paying. No "phone home" mechanisms tracking your usage. No dependency on our continued existence as a company.
This is software the way it used to be: permanent, private, and entirely under your control. You acquire it once, master it over time, and — if our philosophy of Heritage resonates with you — eventually pass it to someone worthy of the craft you’ve built.
The tool will outlast trends, outlast servers, outlast subscription models. It’s designed to.
