Some say that mini PCs can’t be full desktop replacements, and I disagree. Naturally, it’s all going to depend on the specifications and what you hope to use the PC for, but if it’s for basic use like browsing the web, checking your emails, watching some YouTube, and similar activities, for the most part, you should be fine.
While you can just buy a mini PC and hook up your own accessories to it, this one from Lenovo comes as an AIO desktop. That means that the hardware like the CPU, RAM, storage, webcam and other components are all built into the monitor. It’s a tidy desktop PC that’s great if you have very limited space.
It’s affordable and compact
Although this setup might not be for everyone, it is compact and quite affordable. This particular model comes in at just $300 thanks to a discount from Best Buy. Normally, it’s priced at $450, so a $150 discount isn’t all that bad.
When it comes to the hardware, you’re looking at a 23.8-inch HD monitor, Intel’s N100 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of SSD storage. In addition, it also comes with a variety of ports like four USB-A, HDMI, Ethernet, a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2.
The bundle also comes with a keyboard, along with a mouse. As stated before, this PC isn’t going to be for everyone, but if you’re only doing the basics, this one should be able to handle everything you throw at it.
And judging by the reviews on Best Buy, folks agree that it’s more than enough for their needs, with a 4.8-star average rating. Just be sure to pick it up while it’s still on sale to save.
