It’s been a heavy week of building. I’ve moved past just focusing on mechanics and started laying down the actual "experience" of the game—the stuff that makes it feel like a cohesive project rather than a collection of systems.

The Visual Story (Standalone)
Alongside the main update, I’m working on a standalone visual story. It’s set one year before the events of this game.
I decided to build this as its own experience to flesh out the world and give some context to why things are the way they are when you start the main game. It’ll be coming out as a standalone alongside the update, so you can dive into the backstory before (or after) jumping into the new mechanics.
What’s next
The next significant technical challenge is the Character Creator. I want to ensure that you can define who you are before the story begins, so that’s the main focus before release.
