The statue will replace the lumberjack at the Iron Bridge Historical Museum in Huron Shores

NEWS RELEASE MUNICIPALITY OF HURON SHORES ************************ We’re looking for creative, meaningful, and fun ideas for a new statue to replace the current Lumberjack at the museum.

This is your chance to help shape a piece of our community’s future, something that represents who we are, where we’ve been, or where we’re going.

Big ideas. Quirky ideas. Historical. Modern. Whimsical. Symbolic.

If it feels right for our community, we want to hear it.

What Can You Submit?

• A statue concept or theme
• A short description of your idea
• A sketch or photo (optional but encouraged!)
• The meaning or story behind your idea

You don’t need to be an artist — just bring your imagination.

How the Winner is Chosen

The Huron Shores Youth Council will review all submissions and select the best idea.

The selected submission will receive a prize.
