A cold front will push through the region this afternoon. Snow squalls are expect to develop along or ahead of the advancing front. These squalls will be relatively short lived but will have intense snowfall rates and gusty winds causing sudden reduction in visibility to near zero in some areas.

Environment and Climate Change Canada is alerting residents of northern Halton Region of some potentially hazardous weather Tuesday, Jan. 27.
The national agency issued a snow squall watch for Milton and Halton Hills, saying snow squalls are possible Tuesday afternoon.
