Yesterday recap
I wrote a long post yesterday about our Rainbow Baby’s 10th. birthday, so today will be a short recap.
In addition to the birthday activities our oldest and her fiance came by for dinner. I got a chance to talk to my future son-in-law about retro gaming on Android. He recently upgraded his phone, so has an old Android laying around and was looking for ideas.
I also setup the Dolphin emulator on the HTPC and played some Gamecube games. In particular I played an hour or so of SSX 3.
After bed time wife and I started Lethal Weapon.
How are you feeling today?
Heart is full.
Gratitude
Very nice birthday and great to have the whole family home for dinner. …

Todo
Chores
- Sunday chores.
- We are expecting a lot of rain next week and high winds tomorrow. I think we are as prepared as we can be for power outages and following the right places to keep an eye on flooding. It is gonna be a dicey week for the weather.
- Prep for wet work week. We absolutely have to finish this job this week. So, I need to prep my rain gear and wax my boots so I can stay as dry as possible.
Fun
- NFL football with the boy.
- My mom and brother are coming by to see the birthday gorl.
Projects
- My preferred mapping app got ruined, so I am gonna try using CoMaps for a week. It is a frontend for OpenStreetMaps, so I’m going to look at not just how it functions, but how I can contribute to open source mapping. I do a lot of driving, so I really should be contributing. Today I will look at how to do just that.
