More than a few of you have asked where the Vietnam travel posts are that I’ve been promising for a month now. Funny story, I can’t find the first few days of photos. I was sure I studiously copied them across from my SD card every day, but I only have day two, and then more from day five onwards. I’ve probably done something silly and rsync’d them into a nested folder somewhere.

My hope is I haven’t lost them. I’ll still write about those parts of the trip, but I might need to lean on your imagination a bit, and my ability to paint pictures with words in lieu of pixels. Then I can include pictures from the last day in Hà Nội, and continue on as normal.

I’m a bit sad about it, but I’m also trying not to let it dampen my spirits. The experience was what we went there for. Photos are great (and fun to take), but they only come second.
